Part 2 of 2 Parts

The family of PFC Thomas Frederick Green, age 19, and the US Army have invited the PGR to be present as he receives his final honors after being Missing In Action for 51 years.  We are honored to do so.

PFC Thomas Green was serving as a door gunner on a CH-47 Chinook called “Warrior 143” that was assigned to the 68th Aviation Company, 52nd Aviation Battalion, 17th Aviation Group when the helicopter and all aboard were lost in the jungles of Vietnam on October 26, 1971.

The people of Vietnam were able to locate and recover remains of the crew in recent years and they were sent to Hawaii where through DNA PFC Green was identified.  Now he is finally coming home, what a blessing that is for his family and friends.

PFC Green is survived by many family and friends in his hometown of Ramona and has never been forgotten.  They are so grateful that he has finally been found, identified and is coming home.

NOTE: This mission posting is to facilitate your voluntary participation in honoring this American Hero.
