The family of Lindel Ray Rollins, 70, has invited the Patriot Guard Riders to participate in the services of their loved one and to honor this American Hero. We are honored to do so.
Lindel served in the United States Army from 1962 to 1965 and served during Operation Homerun. He made the rank of E4 at the time of his Honorable Discharge. He was an engineer and assisted in the rebuilding or Skopje, Yugoslavia. It is believed that he received a Presidential Citation for his efforts during the mission of Operation Homerun.
Lindel loved his wife Suzan Rollins of 25 years immensely. He met Suzan while serving in Skopje, Yugoslavia and would not leave that country until he was able to bring her back to the United States. He was helped by Colonel Moon in achieving this task.
Lindel was a meat and potatoes kind of guy who loved to fish but wouldn't eat it. The only exception was if it was salmon and Suzan prepared it with beer batter. He loved country music,
popcorn,coffee and a good laugh! He will be missed by all who knew him.
Lindel is survived by his ex-wife, Suzan Rollins, 1 daughter, Jacqueline Cathy and son-in-law, Gene Cathy, 2 brothers, Charles Rollins and Jim Rollins and his 2 grandchildren, Geno Cathy IV and Jessica Cathy.

You do not have to be a Veteran or a motorcycle rider to attend this mission. Everyone is welcome. We encourage those who do not ride to attend in your car. If this will be your first mission go to the initial staging area and you will be briefed there by the R/C (Ride Captain). Dress for motorcycle riding or dress casually if you are driving a cage (car). Please feel free to attend any portion of this mission you can. Please ride/drive safely.
Please remember that our mission is to stand tall and silent, and with honor and respect for our Heroes. No talking, smoking, or cell phone use during the flag line or service. Remember, cemeteries are hallowed ground. Show respect to all who are there, not just the ones we are honoring.
