The family of Gary T. Congelliere, 52, has invited the Patriot Guard Riders to participate in the services of their loved one and to honor this American Hero. We are honored to do so.
Gary served his country in the U.S. Army and also served as an Honor Guard at Riverside National Cemetery where he honored many military veterans. Sadly, and all too soon, the time has come to honor Gary.
Gary lived many years in Pine Cove and Idyllwild. He was an electrician and carpenter. In his private life he loved camping and fishing.
Gary is survived by his wife, Kathy, daughters Candice Samano and Brandi Selkirk, grandchildren Dilyn, Destinee, Lance, Alexis, Jayden and Aireana, his father Jim, a brother Russell and a sister Lori.
There will be a flag line ONLY at RNC.
NOTE: It may be hot so please remember to eat and bring plenty of water. Doing so can help greatly in tolerating the heat. NOTE: This mission posting is to facilitate your voluntary participation in honoring this Military Veteran.

You do not have to be a Veteran or a motorcycle rider to attend this mission. Everyone is welcome. We encourage those who do not ride to attend in your car. If this will be your first mission go to the initial staging area and you will be briefed there by the R/C (Ride Captain). Dress for motorcycle riding or dress casually if you are driving a cage (car). Please feel free to attend any portion of this mission you can. Please ride/drive safely.
Please remember that our mission is to stand tall and silent, and with honor and respect for our Heroes. No talking, smoking, or cell phone use during the flag line or service. Remember, cemeteries are hallowed ground. Show respect to all who are there, not just the ones we are honoring.
Please remember to post your condolences for the family at this link:
