On Sunday, 4 June, the Bastards' Homecoming will occur.

We have been invited by the Command and the Deployment Rediness Coordinator of this USMC Unit to welcome home their brave Marines and Sailors who are returning from deployment, we are honored to be there!

This Unit has been away from home and family for many months. They are returning to the States and deserve a Hero's welcome! These guys and gals are coming back from deployment, and almost got re-routed to assist the folks in Guam after the typhoon, but were turned back home.

We will meet them prior to their formal Welcome Home by their Command Staff and accompany them to the ceremony and their release to their families.

Come with your smiles, hugs, handshakes, and flags.  Rumor has it there will be cookies  ;D

You will need to either be pre-approved, have a Military ID (Retired or Active) or be with someone who does have the appropriate ID.

Chuck Johnson will escort those who do not have Military IDs from the staging area onto the base.

NOTE: This mission posting is to facilitate your voluntary participation in honoring these heroes. For those interested, and all PGR members are welcome, please see the time table if you would like to participate.

Please note that we are combining staging for multiple returns as they have a short time between Company releases.
