Ryan Michael Gibson,36, of Brawley Ca was called home to walk amongst the angels on Monday, July 17, 2023. Ryan was welcomed into this world on August 27, 1986, to proud parents Michael and Shelley Gibson. Ryan was raised in Brawley with his three brothers and numerous loving grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins. Ryan attended Mulberry Elementary, then graduated from Brawley Union High School in 2004. Ryan is the second oldest brother out of four amazing sons that Shelley and Michael welcomed into the world. You would be hard-pressed to find brothers that were closer or loved harder than the Gibson boys. No matter what life throws at them, they would walk through the fire together and always emerge stronger on the other side. Although there might be some disagreement on which brother was the favorite, there was no argument about which brother had the most contagious smile. Everyone would agree that Ryan's ear-to-ear smile brought a much-needed light into this world. He had a magnetic presence with an energy and force to be reckoned with. Ryan made the world a better place with his zest for life and ability to make everyone want to live their life to the fullest. Ryan was also considered a brother to all the marines he served with as a United States Marine. Shortly after graduating high school Ryan enlisted, to become a United States Marine. Ryan spent eight years serving his country and served proudly amongst his brothers in arms in numerous tours. During his time as a Marine, he emerged as a leader and many fellow marines looked up to him for guidance, advice, and a model of what a true Marine and man should be. He gave his word that he would bring his Marines home safely during every tour and every mission and that is exactly what he did every time. Being a Marine was a part of who he was and the honor of being a Marine is something he wore proudly. Shortly before leaving the Marines, he began dating a fellow Marine, Brandi Falvey, who he married shortly after. After marrying they decided to relocate to Texas and begin their family. Ryan worked in the IT sector during his career, where he excelled and became sought after for his talent and expertise. The same pride he took in his work as a marine, is the same pride he took as he worked in the IT field. After leaving the Marines they welcomed their first child a beautiful baby girl Rylie Madylynn Gibson. The only honor he wore higher than being called a Marine is being called dad. Watching Ryan fall in love with his baby girl and effortlessly fall into the role of a girl dad was a special time. A few years later he proudly welcomed a healthy baby boy, Eric Ryan Gibson. Falling into the role of boy dad came as effortlessly as his role with his daughter had. Ryan lovingly joked that God thought he had done such a perfect job with Ryan, he copied and pasted another one of himself into his son Eric. Ryan loved his babies fiercely and with every fiber in his being and there wasn’t any fire he wouldn’t walk through for them. The love he poured into his children in the short time he was here will be felt for the rest of their lifetime. As Rylie and Eric walk through life they will never have to wonder if their daddy is walking with them, because the love he gave them is enough to ensure them he is walking hand in hand with them through every stage of life.
Ryan is survived by his father Michael Gibson (Denise Gibson), daughter Rylie Madeline Gibson, son Eric Ryan Gibson, brother Mark Gibson (Ashley Gibson), brother Steven Gibson (Celeste Gibson), brother Samuel Gibson, nieces Brooke Gibson, Cailyn Gibson, Baylee Gibson, nephews.

Dress for motorcycle riding or dress casually if you are driving a cage (car). Please feel free to attend any portion of this mission you can. Please ride/drive safely.
Remember that our mission is to stand tall and silent with honor and respect for our Heroes—no talking, smoking, or cell phone use during the flag line or service. Please keep radios off and engine noise to a minimum. Remember, cemeteries are hallowed ground. Show respect to all who are there, not just the ones we honor.
