The family of Frank Louis Bernich has invited the Patriot Guard Riders to participate in their Hero’s final journey. We are honored to fulfill this request.

Our Hero enlisted into the US Marine Corps in 1966 and was honorably discharged at the rank of PFC, E-2 in 1970. He served in Vietnam where he received THREE
Purple Heart Medals. In addition, he earned the Vietnam Service Medal, Vietnam Campaign Medal, National Defense Medal, Presidential Unit Citation and Rifle
Marksman Badge.

As a civilian, Frank worked for Bethlehem Steel, owned a Donut shop with his wife and worked for the US Postal service. His hobbies and interests included attending
baseball games, watching his granddaughter do nails and watching his grandson bowl. He also enjoyed traveling and trips to Laughlin.

Our Hero is preceded in death by his wife, Pamela. He leaves behind three children Lisa, Mike and David and a brother, Barry. He will be missed by eight grandchildren.

Please remember that our mission is to stand tall and silent, and with honor and respect for our Heroes. No talking, smoking, or cell phone use during the flag line or service. Please keep radios off and engine noise to a minimum. Observe the 15 MPH speed limit. Remember, cemeteries are hallowed ground. Show respect to all who are there, not just the ones we are honoring.
