URGENT!!! SHORT NOTICE!!!

The family of Ernest McCullough has invited the Patriot Guard Riders to be present to honor their hero for his service to his country.  It will be our privilege to do so.

Ernest served in the Army Air Force from 19 Nov 1945 to 12 May 1947.  He attained the rank of Sergeant upon honorable discharge.  After military life, he worked for Union Oil, then the Dow Company, and eventually Shell Oil.  He worked in the instrumentation field which maintained equipment to monitor and control machinery.  He belonged to the Sons of American Revolution and loved golf.

Ernest’s son, Kevin, wants to surprise his 91-year-old mother and his sister with the PGR’s presence; they have no idea of our invitation.

Our Hero is survived by his wife of 73 years, Mary-Anne; son, Kevin; daughter, Karen; and 3 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.

NOTE: This mission posting facilitates your voluntary participation in honoring this Military Veteran. For those interested, and all PGR members are welcome, we will hold a flag line for this WWII hero.  Please see the timetable if you would like to participate.

Remember that our mission is to stand tall and silent with honor and respect for our Heroes—no talking, smoking, or cell phone use during the flag line or service. Please keep radios off and engine noise to a minimum. Remember, cemeteries are hallowed ground. Show respect to all who are there, not just the ones we honor.
