We have been invited by the family of Otis May Bray, 90, to be present as he receives his military honors, we are privileged to do so.

Otis joined the National Guard, Fort Robinson, Arkansas 1950-1952.  He then  served in the U.S. Air Force from 1952-1955 serving as an instructor at Lackland Air Force Base in San Antonio, Texas. Later he was stationed in South Korea during the Korean War conflict. He achieved the rank of Tech Sp-7 and was awarded the Foreign service Medal at the time of his honorable discharge. 

He then opened up his own plumbing business in the San Fernando Valley.  In his later years, he moved to Yucaipa to be near his sister and her family.

Otis is Survived by his only child daughter, Lynn Bray Wood, Simi Valley, CA, granddaughter Elyse Wood, Sacramento, and grandson, Russell Wood, Simi Valley, sister, Wynona Bray Canup, Yucaipa, nieces Rhonda Streich Diamond, Yucaipa, Lisa, Farmer, Florida, Pamela Gutierrez, Hemet, and nephews Philip Streich, San Pedro, Gary, Streich, Yuma, Randy Bray, Cheyenne, Wyoming. And five great nieces, three great nephews, four great-great nieces, and six great-great nephews.

1130 - await arrival of hero and family. Accompany to assign staging lane.

1215 - ksu to shelter for honors.

You do not have to be a Veteran or a motorcycle rider to attend this mission. All PGR members are welcome. We encourage those who do not ride to attend in your car. If this will be your first mission go to the initial staging area and you will be briefed there by the Ride Captain (RC). Dress for motorcycle riding or dress casually if you are driving a cage (car). Please feel free to attend any portion of this mission you can. Please ride/drive safely.

Please remember that our mission is to stand tall and silent, and with honor and respect for our Heroes. No talking, smoking, or cell phone use during the flag line or service. Please keep radios off and engine noise to a minimum. Observe the 15 MPH speed limit. Remember, cemeteries are hallowed ground. Show respect to all who are there, not just the ones we are honoring.
