PLEASE NOTE THERE IS A TIMETABLE CHANGE. The family of Charles Frank Andrews, Jr., 86, has requested the Patriot Guard Riders accompany them from the family residence to the church for the church service of their loved. It will be our honor to do so.
Charles served in the United States Army from 01/25/1955 to 11/27/1957 where he was a track vehicle mechanic (tanks). He was honorably discharged at the rank of Sergeant. He continued to serve in the Army Reserve from 1957 to 01/24/1963. He earned the Sharpshooter badge, AAA badge, and was awarded the Good Conduct Medal.
After his exit from the Army, Charles worked as an elevator mechanic and job site superintendent. Charles' joys in life were serving others, attending church, and good food and spending time with his family.
Charles is survived by his wife, Candy Andrews, and children, Patrick Goodman, Erin Elliot, Dena Lombardo, and Matt Lunder.
NOTE: We will be accompanying the hero from the family home to the church, approximately 2 miles.
