The family of Norbert Edward Moniz have invited the Patriot Guard Riders to be with them at a Celebration of Life on Saturday, 10 August at the Heart of the Canyon Church in Santa Clarita.  We are honored to be able to attend.

Norbert served with honor in the US Army achieving the rank of 2LT during the Korean Conflict, and was fortunate to not be deployed to Korea, but rather helped train the combat troops who did.

After his time in the Army, Norbert made a career of Sales - library supplies, cemetery plots, bean bag products and furniture.  He ran his own company manufacturing and selling bean bag products and became the principle in his family run furniture business.

He stayed active in his spare time with woodworking and metal detecting, bread baking, pickling vegetables and candy making.  He took up watercolor painting later in life and sent all his children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren painted rocks.

He will truly be missed by many.

Norbert is survived by his wife and love of his life, Adelaide Barbara Moniz; children Kathleen, Norbert II, Stephen and David; eight grand children and eight great grandchildren.
