The family of Patricia  Ann Fernandez has requested PGR participation in our hero’s committal service as Patricia is laid to rest alongside her husband at Miramar National Cemetery.  We are honored to fulfill the request.

Patricia joined the Navy in March of 1952, serving in our National Defense Department until November of 1954.  It is while she was in the Navy Patricia met her Husband, George W. Fernandez, who was serving in the Marines.

After the Navy, Patricia worked at Camp Pendleton as an IBM operator, West Coast Bank- IT for 6 years, then Oceanside Police Department-Records manager 28 years.

Patricia enjoyed dancing, painting, nature walks, and was considered to be a social butterfly by her family.

A lifelong resident of Oceanside, CA. Pat often said she couldn’t have imagined living anywhere else. Up until the end, Pat maintained kindness, grace, compassion, and the appreciation of beauty in nature. She expressed gratitude for her long life, love of family and friends and abundance of wonderful experiences.

Patricia was preceded in death by her husband, George W. Fernandez, a USMC 30-year veteran.  Leaving behind their children, Greg Fernandez, Cheryl Fernandez, Robbin Thompson, and Teri Faldon.  12 Grandchildren and 16 Great-Great Grandchildren
