The family of US Coast Guard Veteran Marc Allen Fischer has requested the Patriot Guard Riders to escort their loved one to Gateway Community Church in Merced to stand for this hero during his final Military Honors. The PGR is honored to accept this request.
Marc served 10 years and 10 months in the United States Coast Guard, receiving various military awards including, Commandants Letter of Commendation, Unit Commendation Ribbon and Bronze Star, Armed Forces Expeditionary Medal, National Defense Service Medal w/Bronze Star.
Marc is survived by is wife, Tammy Fisher, and other family members
Patriot Guard Riders and other groups are invited to escort Eric to receive his final Military Honors in Merced (at the church); Gateway Community Church, 353 Est Donna Drive, Merced. Burial at the National Cemetery Santa Nella will take place on Tuesday, Sept 3, 2024. This is a private burial for the family to attend. No PGR escort on this date.
