The family of Richard Michael Pshock has invited the Patriot Guard Riders to participate in their hero’s final journey. We are honored to fulfill this request.
Our hero enlisted in the Air Force in 1978 and was honorably discharged in 1998. While serving, Richard was stationed in Florida, California, Italy, Greenland, South Korea, and Spain where he met the love of his life, Eleana. Richard served as a broadcaster for Armed Forces Radio and Television during his service to the Air Force.
As a civilian, our hero continued his Air Force broadcasting experience working with Telemundo, AT&T, and Wealth TV. Rick also worked as an actor and freelance voiceover talent for audiobooks, commercials, video games, and cartoon characters.
Rick is survived by his loving wife of 44 years, Eleana; son, Mauricio; and daughter, Vanessa. He will also be missed by his grandson, Josiah.
"Although many will remember Rick for his incredible work ethic, sage wisdom, quick wit humor and contagious smile, he will be remembered most as a loving, caring and dedicated husband, father, grandfather, brother, son and friend. Rick was a member of Granite Creek Community Church and a zealous servant of Jesus Christ."NOTE: This mission posting is to facilitate your voluntary participation in honoring this military veteran. For those interested, and all PGR members are welcome, this is a flag line only (FLO) mission at Riverside National Cemetery. For those who would like to participate, please see the timetable and we will meet you there.
TIMELINE FOR MONDAY, 16 SEPTEMBER 20241230: Stage at Riverside National Cemetery, 22495 Van Buren Blvd., Riverside, CA (Lemay Blvd. near the restrooms on the right).
https://maps.app.goo.gl/UAoAQTYkLzPAM6nn71245: Mission briefing.
1300-1315: Expected arrival of aoach and family. Move to assigned staging lane.
1345: Proceed to shelter for honors and services.
NOTE: Joker will have his mission arriving from Coachella at approximately 1230. His shelter time is 1300. I would recommend splitting up so both missions are supported. As soon as I know the shelter for this mission, I will let Joker know so those attending his mission first may make it back in time for the 1345 honors and service.
