The family of Sophia Lozipone have invited the Patriot Guard Riders to attend the services of a member of the Greatest Generation; it would be our honor to do so.
Ms. Lozipone was born in Barton, Ohio and later answered the call to serve during World War II in the U.S. Army Women's Air Coprs (WAC). She served in the WAC's from April 27, 1943 to October 18, 1945 and during this time she was awarded the good conduct medal. Later she was discharged from the WAC's at the rank of Corporal. Ms. Lozipone was very prould of her wartime service and is registered at the World War II memorial in Washington DC.
Ms. Lozipone is survived by two daughters Ann and Marian, two sons Raymond and Thomas, six grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
NOTE: This mission posting is to facilitate your voluntary participation in honoring this Military Veteran. For those interested, and all are welcome, we will be accompanying the hero and her family from the church services to her final resting place. Please see the time table if you would like to participate. For those who would rather go directly to the cemetery, we will meet you there.

You do not have to be a Veteran or a motorcycle rider to attend this mission. Everyone is welcome. We encourage those who do not ride to attend in your car. If this will be your first mission go to the initial staging area and you will be briefed there by the R/C (Ride Captain). Dress for motorcycle riding or dress casually if you are driving a cage (car). Please feel free to attend any portion of this mission you can. Please ride/drive safely.
