Wreaths Across America Trucks Accompaniment 12 DEC 2024 0900 HRS
« on: December 10, 2024, 07:31:23 PM »
The Patriot Guard has been invited to accompany the Wreaths Across America trucks to Ft. Rosecrans, and we will be honored to do so.

There are two large diesel trucks carrying the thousands of Wreaths for Ft. Rosecrans to allocate to our hero’s gravesites. The trucks will meet us on the Birmingham exit off the 5 SOUTH freeway exit at 9am. We will then escort them to Ft. Rosecrans to arrive by 11am.

PLEASE NOTE: WE ARE NOT MEETING AT BIRMINGHAM PARK AND RIDE!! If you are coming up on the 5 North, you will need to pass the Birmingham exit and get off at the next exit, which is Santa Fe Drive exit.  Go to the west by making a left onto Santa Fe Drive.  Go under the 5 and make a left going onto the 5 South.  The next exit is Birmingham exit, that is where we will meet the two trucks right on the offramp.

Please feel free to attend any portion of this mission you can. Please ride/drive safely.
Remember that our mission is to stand tall and silent with honor and respect for our Heroes—no talking, smoking, or cell phone use during the flag line or service. Please keep radios off and engine noise to a minimum. Show respect to all who are there, not just the ones we honor.
