UPDATED TIMELINE
Snowball Express - First Responders - Part 1

The families of First Responders and the Gary Sinise Foundation have requested the presence of the Patriot Guard to help get these families from their hotel, and from their vehicles when they arrive at the airport to check in and get them on their way to a well deserved vacation, compliments of Gary Sinise Foundation.

We will be Honored to do this. This will be different then any of our missions that we usually do.

You will get to interact with the families and their kids, and get to watch the smiles on their faces even thou for some that are traveling along way will still be getting adjusted to the early time.

For us our job will be to help with luggage transfers, both loading and unloading of the buses.

Once at the airport we will get back to the bus as quickly as possible to assist with check ins .

Then if you so desire you will be able to get a temporary pass to go upstairs with the families and hang out until their departure. All of the details will be explained by the Ride Captain once we have our meeting.

We will probably be completed no later than 0900 but their isn't a set timeline for departure for us. All that will  be up to you and how things roll out

I have been in touch with the responsible parties for timelines and locations some are still being worked on.  I will have the rest of the details when you all arrive.

If you are coming up in a cage it would be best to carpool as space is going to be limited both at the hotel, and the airport.

We are working with LAX PD, and Hotel security as to where we can park without having to go a long distance and without disrupting traffic flow.

The Hyatt Regency has two entrances that look like main entrances. One in the front, and one in the back.  We will park at the one in the back. We will be parking by where the airport rentals get dropped off as close as we can to the doors and each other. If you pull into the front they only have valet parking that will be your clue your on the wrong side.

If coming 105 W, exit Sepulveda N.  Take the exit on the right for Vicksburg Ave.
After the right, turn left onto Vicksburg Ave. Turn in at the 2nd driveway on the left.

NOTE: This mission posting is to facilitate your voluntary participation in honoring these First Responder families. For those interested, and all PGR are welcome, we will be accompanying the families from their hotel to the airport. Please see the time table if you would like to participate.
