Gary Jon Arneson joined the Army in Aug. 1965 and served honorably until his discharge in Aug. 1968, including a tour in Vietnam, having reached the rank of SP4.
He worked at Dow Chemical 33 1/2 years, taught welding in the evenings at El Camino Community College and So. Cal Regional Occupational Center until 2009.
He loved to travel the world, collect challenge coins, baseballs and civil war memorabilia. Gary volunteered as a docent for the Wilmington Drum Barracks. He was a member of the VVA and VFW. Gary was a lifelong patriot.
He leaves his wife Ruth, sister Geraldine, daughters Kelly, April and Sarah and 7 grandchildren.

You do not have to be a Veteran or a motorcycle rider to attend this mission. Everyone is welcome. We encourage those who do not ride to attend in your car. If this will be your first mission go to the initial staging area and you will be briefed there by the R/C (Ride Captain). Dress for motorcycle riding or dress casually if you are driving a cage (car). Please feel free to attend any portion of this mission you can. Please ride/drive safely.
