The U.S. Marine Corps and the family of 1st Lt Matthew R. Davis, have invited the Patriot Guard Riders to accompany this Hero from the mortuary to the airport for his departure to the east coast for his funeral services and interment.  We will be honored to do so.
 
Lt Davis had 3 deployments and served in Okinawa and the West Pacific.  He was originally from Drexel Hill,  in Delaware County, Pennsylvania.  He leaves behind a wife, a young daughter and a young son. 

Lt Davis will be flown to Virginia for his final services.  We will meet at the mortuary in Fallbrook, provide a Flag Line and then accompany this Hero as he enters his final journey home.  The PGR in Virginia is planning a mission to accompany this Hero and family there.

NOTE: This mission posting is to facilitate your voluntary participation in honoring this American Hero For those interested, and all are welcome, we will be accompanying the hero and his family from the mortuary to the airport. Please see the time table if you would like to participate.

You do not have to be a Veteran or a motorcycle rider to attend this mission. Everyone is welcome. We encourage those who do not ride to attend in your car. If this will be your first mission go to the initial staging area and you will be briefed there by the R/C (Ride Captain).  Dress for motorcycle riding or dress casually if you are driving a cage (car).  Please feel free to attend any portion of this mission you can.  Please ride/drive safely.
