The family of Louis Gregory Laurenzana have invited the Patriot Guard Riders to accompany this Hero to Miramar National Cemetery.  We will be honored to do so.

Louis served in the U.S. Navy from 6-12-44 to 6-3-46.  He was stationed in Saipan as a Storekeeper Third Class, proudly serving his country and being honorably discharged after being awarded the World War II Victory Medal and WWII Asiatic-Pacific Medal among others.

In civilian life Louis was an advanced biology teacher at Mission Bay High School in San Diego.  Several of his students went on to be doctors as well as one that was awarded a Nobel Prize.

Louis is survived by his wife Bernadette, children Lou and Gemma and four grandchildren.

You do not have to be a Veteran or a motorcycle rider to attend this mission.  Everyone is welcome.  We encourage those who do not ride to attend in your car.  If this will be your first mission go to the initial staging area and you will be briefed there by the R/C (Ride Captain).  Dress for motorcycle riding or dress casually if you are driving a cage (car).  Please feel free to attend any portion of this mission you can.  Please ride/drive safely.

Please post your condolences at this link --> https://www.patriotguard.org/showthread.php?398748
