The family of Harold Otto Schell has invited the PGR to be present as he is laid to rest. We are proud to do so.
Harold enlisted in the Army in May, 1943. He was honorably discharged in November, 1945 at the rank of Sergeant. His service record reads like the Band of Brothers, having participated in the Battle of the Bulge, The Campaign of Germany, Mulberry Secret Project(Normandy), also known as the Phoenix and European - African Middle Eastern Campaign.
After the war he married the love of his life, Norma, and he started an appliance repair business which he owned for 30 yrs, he also managed a mobile home park in Acton, CA for 25 years. He loved music and played the piano and the organ. Harold was a friend to everyone.
Harold was preceded in death by Norma, his wife of 60 years, he is survived by 3 children, Harold Jr., Sheryllynn and Bruce, 7 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.
Services for his final mission will be held at Ivy Lawn Memorial Park in Ventura. This will be a Flag Line Only, no accompaniment.

You do not have to be a Veteran or a motorcycle rider to attend this mission. Everyone is welcome. We encourage those who do not ride to attend in your car. If this will be your first mission go to the initial staging area and you will be briefed there by the R/C (Ride Captain). Dress for motorcycle riding or dress casually if you are driving a cage (car). Please feel free to attend any portion of this mission you can. Please ride/drive safely.
