The family of Martin (Chino) Vasquez has invited the Patriot Guard to be with them as they honor this member of the Greatest Generation as he takes his final journey on 12 February, and we are pleased to do so.

Martin served with the US Army from 1944 to 1946 as a Machine Gunner with the 112th Cavalry Regiment and achieving the rank of Staff Sargent.  During his time in service, he was awarded the Good Conduct Medal, Army of Occupation Medal, WWII Victory Medal, Asia Pacific Campaign Medal, Philippine Liberation Medal, and the Combat Infantry Badge.
