The Patriot Guard has been invited to join family and friends in welcoming home a pair of Vietnam Veterans who are returning from a healing trip to South East Asia where they were stationed during the War.
Air Force Sergeant Victor Peterson from Malibu, CA, and Army Specialist 4 Class Terry McAllister from Redondo Beach, CA, returned to Vietnam and Cambodia in order to get personal closure on their time spent in country. Along with visiting their old stomping grounds at Khe Sanh, Quang Tri, Hue, Da Nang, My Tho, Bien Hoa, and the Mekong Delta, the pair donated time and supplies to A New Day Cambodia – an NGO (Non-Governmental Organization) out of Phnom Penh.
Victor and Terry, like the rest of us who served in Vietnam, never got the hero’s welcome they deserved when they came home. This is an opportunity to give them that welcome that they so richly deserve.
Please join us for this special day.
Bring your flags, banners, smiles and hugs and help welcome home a pair of heroes.
NOTE: This mission posting is to facilitate your voluntary participation in honoring these Military Veterans. Bring your flags and smiles to help welcome these heroes home. All are welcome. Please see the timetable below if you would like to participate.
